Assessment - Conferences

High Meadows Assessment Conferences

Parent – Teacher Narrative Conferences

Formal conferences are scheduled two times a school year. Prior to your scheduled conference time, parents/guardians have the opportunity to review their student’s portfolio, writing journals, and reflections.

Parents/guardians will receive a copy of the Narrative Report and teachers will share concept and skill development checklists and anecdotal records. Parents and teachers will discuss the strengths, needs, challenges, and goals for the student.

Students participate in the conferences – along with their parents and teachers – beginning in the 4th grade. In Middle Years, the students reflect on their strengths and opportunities for improvement and then prepare to lead the conferences.
