2017-2018 Financial Aid

High Meadows offers need-based financial aid to qualified families with children in five-day Pre-K through Eighth Grade.

We utilize School and Student Services (SSS), a confidential third party, to process financial aid applications and help the financial aid committee to objectively assess a family’s ability to contribute toward education expenses. According to standard practice, all household income is considered when determining financial need, and therefore, financial information from all parties of a household who earn income is required.  If the child is from a former marriage of either party, an application must be completed by both the current family members and the non-custodial parent and spouse.

Aid awards are determined by the financial aid committee based on the demonstrated need of the applicant and the capacity of the financial aid budget in any given year. Aid is awarded first to returning students who received aid in the prior year, then to returning students seeking aid for the first time, and then to new students.

Families are encouraged to apply for aid beginning November 1st and should submit their completed application for the 2017-18 school year no later than Friday, February 20, 2017. Supporting tax documents (see below) must be submitted no later than March 1st, 2017. Applications submitted after this date will be considered only if funds remain available.

STEP 1

Complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) application.

Complete and submit the PFS online using High Meadows School code 3854. If you have problems with the PFS, contact the Customer Service Center for Parents at 800.344.8328 or sss@nais.org. If you are a returning parent and you completed an online PFS application last year, then use your email address and existing password. If you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot my password.” The online SSS application fee of $41 is payable via credit card.  All applications must be submitted via the online process.

The PFS comes with a Required Documents Cover Sheet. Use this when sending in additional documents to SSS.   Due to the number of documents they receive, documents sent to SSS without the cover sheet will not be processed.

STEP 2

Submit your tax forms.

Upload or mail a copy of your 2016 taxes (including all schedules) and W-2 forms to School and Student Services. As part of the online PFS process, parents now have the ability to upload tax documents and W2s directly to SSS. For mail, send documents to: SSS by NAIS, PO Box 449, Randolph, MA 02368-0449. For overnight mail: SSS By NAIS, 437 Turnpike Street, Canton, MA 02021. Do not send tax documents to High Meadows School.

Upload required form 4506-T. Please indicate the school address on line 5, form 1040 as the Transcript requested, and 2014 as the year requested.

If you have any questions about the process, please call SSS customer service at 800.344.8328 (M-F 9am-8pm; Sat. 9am-4pm EST).

Families will be notified of their financial aid qualifications in April 2016.
