Financial Aid

Need-Based Financial Aid

High Meadows School is committed to enrolling qualified students from a wide variety of socioeconomic backgrounds and to providing financial aid to students who could not otherwise attend.

All financial aid awards are based on demonstrated need; we do not award merit scholarships. We offer need-based financial aid to qualified families with children in five-day Pre-K through Eighth Grade. Approximately 21% of our students receive need-based financial assistance.
Our financial aid program is designed to bridge the gap between what a family can afford to pay and the full cost of tuition. Financial aid qualification is determined with guidance provided to us by Clarity, a confidential third party we use to process financial aid applications and help the financial aid committee to objectively assess a family’s ability to contribute toward educational expenses. According to standard practice, all household income is considered when determining financial need. Aid awards are determined by the financial aid committee based on the demonstrated need of the applicant and the capacity of the financial aid budget in any given year.
Families interested in exploring financial aid possibilities should submit their completed financial aid application for the 2027-28 school year no later than Sunday, February 14, 2027. Supporting tax documents must be submitted no later than March 2, 2027. Financial aid qualification will be evaluated only for families who have also completed the application process for school admission and notice of qualification will be sent out in spring 2027. Applications submitted after February will be considered only if funds remain available.

Financial Aid Application Steps

List of 2 items.

  • 1. Complete the Financial Aid application through Clarity

Complete and submit the Clarity application online and upload required tax and income documentation.  All applications must be submitted via the online process.

The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete and is mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

*If you have applied for financial aid at High Meadows in a previous year, please note that we are utilizing a new platform and past-year information will not be visible.
  • 2. Submit Your Tax Forms

Upload a copy of your 2025 and 2026 taxes (including all schedules) and W-2 forms to Clarity

If you have any questions about the process, please call Rebecca Sandberg at 678-507-1167.

Families will be notified of their financial aid qualifications in April 2027.

Georgia GOAL Tax Credit Scholarships

Georgia GOAL Tax Credit Program

After your family has completed the High Meadows School financial aid application process and been determined eligible for financial aid, your student may qualify to be included in the Georgia GOAL Tax Credit Program.

Georgia GOAL provides scholarship funding to High Meadows School on behalf of eligible students who are transferring from a public school and meet income eligibility requirements. These funds help offset the financial aid awarded by the school and are not paid directly to families.

If your child qualifies, Georgia GOAL funding can help High Meadows offset a portion of the financial aid awarded.

Georgia GOAL scholarships are available to new students prior to their enrollment at High Meadows School. Once awarded, scholarship eligibility may be renewed annually through graduation, subject to ongoing eligibility requirements and available funding.

All taxpayers can help fund the Georgia GOAL Tax Credit Program. Learn More >
