Scholarship Support

Scholarship support plays a significant role in enabling some of our students to be able to attend High Meadows. We directs these funds to current families who are unable to stay at the School without financial assistance, and to qualified candidates who could not attend without financial assistance. Your support will help High Meadows continue its tradition of serving families in need. Support can be given through a variety of avenues that target different student populations:

Georgia Private School Tax Credit

You can redirect a portion of your state taxes to High Meadows and receive 100 percent of those funds back through a tax credit. High Meadows must use these funds for financial assistance for students who are transitioning from public school or home school to High Meadows. For 2014, the state has set aside $58 million in tax credits that can be directed to any private/independent schools in Georgia. Learn more about how you can help High Meadows receive its fair share of this "free money" through participation in the Georgia Private School Tax Credit program.

Theodore P. Wolf Scholarship Fund

Ted Wolf was the husband of Middle Years Director Pat Wolf and father of High Meadows alumni Rebecca, Rachel and and HMS Middle Years teacher Isaac Wolf. Ted was also a long-time and ardent supporter of the High Meadows Middle Years Debate Team. When he passed away suddenly in 2010, this special scholarship fund was created in his memory. Your gift to the Theodore P. Wolf Scholarship Fund supports annual $1,000 scholarships that are directed to the family of Middle Years students who would be unable to continue to matriculate without financial assistance. Email our Director of Development to discuss contributions to this fund.

Scholarship Fund of the High Meadows Endowment

A portion of High Meadows Endowment funds are directed towards tuition assistance to families. Your gifts to this fund will help strengthen this long-term effort to grow High Meadows' ability to offer financial support to current and incoming families in need.

Remember: High Meadows is classified as a tax-exempt 501(c) 3 organization. So, every contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
