Celebrating
50 Years!
High Meadows School & Camp began on an afternoon hike with friends, which is very appropriate for the legacy High Meadows still holds today, 50 years later.
The 2023-24 school year marks High Meadows School’s 50th Anniversary. In celebration of this special milestone, we welcome the community to reflect on some of the remarkable achievements of the past and join us for events throughout the year as we inspire the future.

Looking Back with Jody Holden
During the 2015-2016 school year, founder Jody Holden sat for a series of recorded interviews. During the Summer/Fall 2023, with help from the Romeyn family, we took notes from those interviews and added wonderful pictures to it and turned it into this special book. The book takes you through High Meadows’ history through Jody’s eyes, as well as an in-depth explanation of the basis of our educational philosophy. We are so excited to share this for you to read and gain insight into Jody and High Meadows. Click the image above to read the online version of this booklet. We also have hard copies available for purchase in Franklin House.
50th Anniversary Magazine
Our Archives & History Committee produced an amazing 50th Anniversary Commemorative Magazine! Click the image above to read through the magazine online. We have hard copies available for purchase in Franklin House. Please take the time to read through so many wonderful articles honoring and celebrating HMS&C!
