High Meadows Center for Progressive Learning Will Host the Free Event on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.
ATLANTA/ROSWELL – The High Meadows Center for Progressive Learning and High Meadows School, an independent, International Baccalaureate® (IB) school focused on progressive education for students in preschool through eighth grade, will host renowned speaker and author Kevin Carroll for an event that is free and open to the Atlanta community. An agent for social change, Mr. Carroll will speak about embracing our spirit of play and creativity to maximize human potential and sustain more meaningful personal and organizational growth.
This event will take place Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Center of High Meadows School located at 1055 Willeo Road, Roswell 30075. A Q&A session and book signing will follow Mr. Carroll’s presentation. This event is a feature program of the High Meadows Center for Progressive Learning, a non-profit organization offering community programming and training that further its mission to be a beacon for best progressive education practices in teaching, learning and parenting in this region and beyond.
Kevin Carroll is the founder of Kevin Carroll Katalyst/LLC and the author of three highly successful books: Rules of the Red Rubber Ball, What’s Your Red Rubber Ball?! and The Red Rubber Ball at Work, published by ESPN, Disney Press and McGraw-Hill. After serving in the Air Force for 10 years, Mr. Carroll became an athletic trainer at the high school and collegiate levels in Philadelphia. His expertise in sport performance led to his job as head athletic trainer for the Philadelphia 76ers. While at the 76ers, Nike tapped Mr. Carroll to bring his unique experiences to the sneaker giant. With his consulting endeavors, he has helped turn creative ideas into reality for organizations such as ESPN, Nike, Starbucks, the NBA, Walt Disney Company, Mattel, Hasbro, Procter & Gamble, Discovery Channel and many others.
