When asking families what they love about High Meadows School, you’ll get a wide variety of answers. Some love it for the outdoor adventures, the animals, and the inquiry-based learning. Others tell us it’s the talented educators, the smaller class sizes, and the emphasis on cultivating each individual child and their varied interests alongside their academic growth. Whether you are new to High Meadows, a former teacher, or an alumni parent, we all have our reasons for loving this special place.

 

Year after year, our community hears the request to financially support the school with a gift to the High Meadows Fund. We are thankful for the tremendous support from our current families, grandparents, alumni families, board members, and employees who give in this capacity. While coming together as a High Meadows community is vital to reaching our budgetary goal each year, we also hope you do it as a token of appreciation for the many reasons High Meadows has impacted your family.

 

Giving to the Fund is an essential way that every family and friend of High Meadows can unite in appreciation for High Meadows and a shared commitment to support its mission now and in the future. To put it plainly, your support is your way of saying, “I think High Meadows should exist.” Or “I think our society needs High Meadows children.” Your ‘why’ you give and continue to give even after your children have graduated, is attributed to the affinity you have when you think of High Meadows.

 

Gifts to the High Meadows Fund ensure High Meadows has the ability to offer the programs and learning opportunities that are distinctive to HMS. Your gift to the Fund supports curiosity-driven, authentic learning experiences both in and beyond the classroom. It helps provide our teachers with resources and training to engage students creatively, enables upgrades to our facilities, barnyard, grounds, and technology. It also funds new initiatives, special projects, or needs that arise throughout the year and impacts all aspects of the High Meadows experience.
